It's been two years since the world was introduced to Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds), the irreverent and hilarious antihero who shattered box office records and defied all expectations. Following the events of the original film, Deadpool is living his life (sort of) alongside Vanessa Carlysle and their adopted daughter, Negasonic. However, peace doesn't last long when Cable (played by Josh Brolin), a time-traveling version from the future, arrives with dire news: Apocalypse's right-hand man, Thanos... err, I mean, 'Thanatos,' will soon be born and destroy all of humanity.

With his signature wit intact and ready to take on any challenge thrown at him (literally or otherwise), Deadpool sets out on a mission to prevent this impending disaster. Along the way, he teams up with an unlikely group of misfits including Domino (Zazie Beetz), a skilled mutant assassin; Negasonic's new love interest, Bedlam (Ed Skrein); and even the infamous Cable himself.

Directed by Tim Miller ('Deadpool') once again, 'Deadpool 2' promises more than just plenty of action sequences and crude humor.
